Renesmee

Today, Renesmee showed me a few of her thoughts with her small fragile hand pressed to my cheek. I am finally beginning to get used to her warm touch and the sudden burst of images that fill my mind shortly after.
Her thoughts were focused on Jacob. Nothing new there, all her thoughts are laced with him. She showed me what it was like running and playing in the woods with him. I laughed as she showed the memory of planting her feet in the ground and snarling menacingly at him before pouncing. In the reflection of Jacob's eyes, I was able to see what she looked like with her face scrunched up while she snarled. Needless to say, It was priceless. 
An underlying thought showed Alice using the same tactics with me a few days ago. She remembered the sound of Bella and Edward's laughter when Alice slammed into me and knocked me flat on my butt.
I am grateful to be an uncle to this darling little girl, should I ever lose my memory... I can trust her to give it all back in great detail.
I love you, Alice. And, Renesmee, Uncle Jasper loves you too!

Games with Alice!

Today I have finally figured out a way to play games against Alice to where that I actually have a chance at winning.
Instead of pulling out eight boards today for the chess game Emmett and I usually play, I pulled out a single board along with the normal pieces. I kept my mind on false moves without making any decisions, and I kept a wave of confusion in place as we played. Right at the end of the game, I slipped and let Alice see my finishing moves and she made the move that would crumble my plan. I couldn't think of a better queen to lose the game to. Perhaps I will win the next game. Right now Emmett and Edward are talking over a baseball game with Carlisle. Alice mentioned that Peter and Charlotte are coming, so it looks like we are going to be teaching Bella how to play ball now that she is "durable" as Edward says.
